Iranian TV Reportedly Airs Threatening Segment Targeting Barron Trump, Prompts Secret Service Attention

Iranian state television reportedly aired a segment detailing the movements of Barron Trump and referencing a multimillion-dollar reward, raising new concerns over threats directed at members of President Donald Trump’s family.

Iranian state television has reportedly broadcast a segment targeting Barron Trump, the president’s youngest son, with claims that his movements were being closely tracked and references to a $10 million reward.

According to reports cited by The Independent and The Washington Times, the segment aired on Iran’s Channel 3, also known as IRIB TV3, under a title that appeared to openly discuss killing Barron Trump.

The broadcast allegedly displayed information about Barron’s university location, Secret Service security positions and escort vehicles, while claiming that his whereabouts were “fully monitored.”

The footage also reportedly made several additional claims about Barron’s private life and communications. Among them was an allegation that an unidentified young woman had managed to evade Secret Service protection to meet with him privately.

The segment further claimed that Barron uses Xbox to communicate privately and reportedly displayed alleged Discord and Xbox usernames. The Washington Times said the footage also identified two of his New York University classmates.

Those claims have not been independently verified. The reported video also did not appear on official IRIB social media accounts, according to the published reports.

The U.S. Secret Service told Newsweek that it was aware of the video.

“The Secret Service investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees,” the agency said, according to the outlet.

Barron Trump, 20, is President Donald Trump’s youngest son and his only child with First Lady Melania Trump. Unlike several of the president’s older children, Barron has largely remained outside the political spotlight.
